Preferred Strike:

A young, 3rd generation steel worker who’d lost his wife to a lab accident and blames the newly established science companies for his problems. He believes the accident was cause by a mysteriously masked winged crusader, donned with various blades and wearing a blue outfit and red cape (Death Watch).

When he lost his job decided to take his frustrations and anger out on one of the scientific companies that put his company out of business. To make a statement, he drove his car randomly through the front lobby of one of the many scientific companies in the city. Strong from years of steel work he was barely stopped. Fortunately , it was Prof. Carter’s Intellect Defense company.
Prof. Carter listened to his side of the story before turning him over to the police. His story touched his
heart and instigated him to action. Prof. Carter’s also believed that the science companies should give
back to the community for putting the varying local steel companies out of business. Prof. Carter created a strong connection with the chief of police Random Bishop as they tried to find ways to help solve the crime problem but they could only do so much. They eventually realized they needed extra help… under the table.
Prof. Carter dropped the charges against Todd and with Random Bishop’s help they sprung him from prison on the condition that he would work for them. But the job description was to be listed as top secret and he becomes one of their ‘under the table’ employees: The Claw – a vigilante designed to support the over-taxed law enforcement agencies with the increase in crime due to the massive layoffs.
Given his previous background, Todd agrees… with the secret motivation to find the source of his wife’s super villain killer!

Little does he know his biggest challenge is coming at him-from the skies and deep in space!

Prof. Cloward

“The Smart Name in Defense Technology.”-Company slogan

A brilliant, millionair scientist who is a responcted member of the scientific community, who devotes his resources to developing non-lethal, crowd-control, non-military devices and weapons who is convinced after the death of his wife.

Feeling guilty as a scientist for helping to put the industrial companies out of business he frees Todd from prison with Bishop’s help and hires him. He then becomes Todd’s mentor, like a father figure to him, up to the time of his ‘demise.’

Dr. Marla Theresa Walsh-Soon to become Phantessa (Previously known as Specter Phase)

Real name: Marla Theresa Walsh
Affiliation: The Claw and Intellect Defense
Temperament: Smart, clever, direct, defensive, attentive, sharp, and short-tempered.
Weapons/Equipment: Wears a portable, voice-activated device on her belt that allows her to phase through solid objects. Provides some light fracturing ability but it's not designed for that.
Preferred Strike: A snappy come-back with her quick wit in defense of her work.

A scientist, inventor, designer, and perfectionist. Always trying to rebuild the perfect mousetrap! But in order to rebuild it she needs to locate the flaws, which she does too often.

Designer/builder of The Claw's original L.A.W. weapon/equipment in cooperation with the President/Owner of Intellect Defense.

Would rather spend time at a workbench or scientific facility than date or fight crime.

Police Chief Captain Random Bishop-Soon to be known as Bondman

Real name: Police Chief Random Bishop
Affiliation: Cycle City, The Claw, and Intellect Defense
Temperament: Patient, street-smart, kind, determined, able to take control but also ask for/accept help, and providing.

Preferred Weapon: His police-issued .40 caliber pistol.

The current police chief of Cycle City, who believes in Ticket's mentor; that more than just police are needed to keep the people safe. Unsanctioned by the mayor, Bishop goes behind his back to supply information to Intellect Defense, supervise The Claw's actions in the field, and provide back-up if necessary.

Bishop's daughter, Carol, had the "Prowl" drug forced on her and is secretly receiving treatment from Intellect Defense.

Triplicate - Ein, Dual, & Thryce

Real name: Unknown
Affiliation: The Claw and Intellect Defense
Temperament: Smart, clever, direct, strong, and distracted.
Powers/Abilities: Able to use all senses through all of his bodies and control them with perfect clarity. Range: Yet to be determined. Athletic tumbling/fighting: Attacks opponents from 3 different directions with unparalleled coordination and tumbling tactics.
Preferred Strike: Catch, swing, and stomp.

Triplets born with one mind controlling and operating all three bodies. His abilities came via Crime Shark's "Prowl" drug and he wants justice and/or revenge for what he did to he and his brothers.

He gave his individual bodies names so that others could differentiate but it's not necessary for him.

An excellent spy and hand-to-hand combat fighter. Currently not proficient with any weapons; he doesn't feel he needs them.

He is often reminding others that for him, controlling one body is like others waving only one hand. When frustrated, he will sometimes speak through all 3 bodies. He is searching for a cure to his situation and he lives with the regret that he might have killed his actual brothers. But he still fights with hope to find a way to live a normal life.
